if you are at all into paper arts or collage, you might want to hop on over and pick up the free Christmas image countdowns available at tentwostudios.com and artist-how-to.com
the Christmas knitting is coming along at a snails pace. of course, since it’s been so long since i posted, it will seem like lightning fast to you all! lol.
putting it all behind a cut to protect the innocent (ok, not really very innocent… but recipients unawares… )
you can see even more photos of all these over at this flickr set. or click on any of the pictures to see it larger.
first off, a little something for our nephew…
it’s a crocheted
Magnetic Katamari. my BIL loves the video game Katamari Damacy. this is a crochet version of the magnetic balls rolled around in the game to pick up things. we love this thing! it’s not cheap, because it’s packed full of high quality magnets (about $10 worth of magnets)… but it’s SOO worth it! after christmas, i’m making one for us!
next up, lace scarves…
the first 2 are done. the red/pink/yellow one is for paul’s aunt (his mother’s twin). the second one, tidepool colorway, is for paul’s mom. and the pink one still in progress is for his dad’s wife.
not a scarf, technically, but next we have a cowl…
this one’s from my handspun. it’s for my stepmother. it will be great for when they are up at the cabin.
next, some cigar gloves for my SIL’s finace…
and finally, the socks!
the first pair is a pair of Pomatomus in progress for my SIL. the second is a pair of Basket Weave socks for my father. and finially, a pair of Garter Rib socks for my BIL.
total finished: 6 … still in progress: 3

Your socks look great. Your Christmas knitting is at least coming along, even if slow. You are a better woman than me. I decided I couldn’t do deadlines this year.
I found you on Ravelry. Glad to have found your blog!
Thank you for the mention :0) Your knitting is AMAZING! I can knit, but very very VERY slowly. I am in awe!
