- Ask a Ninja
- Ordinary Average Guy
- NPR: Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!
- The Jonathan Coulton Project

Home Craft – washclothes, slippers, felted bowls…. and don’t get me started on crocheted… or tatted… or quilted… but we’re sticking with knitted for now.
The “Talking Knitting” Badge – umm, trust me, i’ve earned this one.
The “MacGyver” Badge (Level One) – i’m taking this even though my first thoughts are non-fiber tool used for Spinning related purpose. i have 2 tension curtain rods i love to use in a doorway to help me ply my yarn. with an s hook slipped over one, i hang a binder clip on. toilet paper rolls wound with my singles slip onto the first (lower) rod… yarn is fed up over the higher rod and on to the spindle. i let out enough to almost reach the floor… then clip the top into the binder clip and let it hang for a minute or so while it twists and plies… my arms don’t end up dead at the end of plying. and i get more even yarn because of the long draw. someday i’ll have to get a picture of the process… but first i need to clean the room that you can see through that doorway!
The “MacGyver” Badge (Level Two) – knitting related tool used in non knitting related funtion… coiless safty pin stitch markers are great to bind books with. and the refill pages for CD organizers are great for keeping a collection of burned DVDs together… or audio book CDs… just clip the stitch markers through the binder holes.
